About Adam S. Dince and Wagglewood
Why did I start Wagglewood?
Over the past year my family lost three beloved pets, one cat and two dogs. As a dad to a little girl, I kept running into the same question: how do you explain death to a child when you're still working through it yourself?
We found books that helped us talk, but I wanted something my daughter could take part in, a way to express feelings and explore memories through coloring. As a hypnotherapist and an animal lover, I wanted to bring those two passions together. Wagglewood is where those books live, one tail at a time.

What does Wagglewood make?
Wagglewood publishes gentle coloring and activity books that help children work through big feelings and life moments, alongside the animals they love. The first book is Benny Misses Daisy, and more are on the way. Every book is meant to be read with a grown-up, colored at the child's pace, and used to talk about whatever comes up. See all the Wagglewood coloring books, or read the guide for parents and caregivers.
How are the illustrations made?
The illustrations were created with the assistance of generative AI and reviewed and edited for publication.
